Aurelia is an interesting character, she has a real presence you get a sense of pretty much right away.
The events that unfold leading to the discovery of the stowaway I enjoyed reading very much.
Kat is a fascinating enigma, I get the feeling there's plenty more about her, and why she is on the ship than she is letting on, a great start again.
The crew are an interesting amalgum and have a distinct set of personalities that will no doubt evolve as the story continues. Some minor flaws, but over-all, this was a wonderful read.
I look forward to more, and Aurelia has quick skills, her whit is sharp, and how she manages her crew is amazing!
