WISE stands for 'Writing to Improve Standards of Excellence' and represents authors and readers who want to improve writing standards in fanfiction. Through writing or reviewing, WISE members strive to help out one another through honest critiques and unique storylines to bring up slowly declining standards rampant in fanfiction today.

How can I get the WISE symbol attached with my member account?
To be a member, you should write extraordinary stories and/or review stories honestly pointing out their good and bad aspects with the intention of helping the author grow as a writer. This badge illustrates that you are committed to helping the fanfiction world.
You can do so by visiting the WISE page located in the Main Menu.

There is a WISE fanfiction.net C2 community that is dedicated to listing stories that meet WISE's high standards. This community is called A WISE Decision (an off-site link to the FFN C2). It is run by crystal_rose and staffed by other AI members. |
